Youth in Kajiado County are set to benefit from new job and business opportunities following the construction of a state-of-the-art packaging facility in Kisaju area.
The multi-million shilling project represents an investment of approximately KES 1 billion (Sh1B), demonstrating SKL's commitment to expanding manufacturing capacity in Kenya.
The facility is expected to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs once operations begin in early 2026. This includes manufacturing positions, logistics roles, and opportunities for local vendors and suppliers.
The investment underscores SKL's commitment to community development in Kajiado County, with the new facility positioned to become a major employer in the Kisaju area.
SKL's expansion comes following its successful listing on the Nairobi Securities Exchange's SME Market Segment in July 2025, where it listed 50.5 million ordinary shares by introduction.
