
Shri Krishana Overseas (SKL) Plc, a leading packaging solutions provider, announced significant progress on its new state-of-the-art facility in Kisaju, Kajiado County. The project remains on track for completion by year-end 2025, with commercial operations beginning in early 2026.
The new 2-acre facility will produce 22,000 tonnes of packaging materials annually, up from the current 3,000 tonnes.
The expanded capacity addresses growing demand from horticulture exports, floriculture, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sectors.
The facility will create employment and vendor opportunities for the Kisaju community in Kajiado County.
Managing Director and Founder Dr. Sonvir Singh emphasized that "this new output is critical to addressing the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions" while creating important local opportunities.
Finance Director and Founder Nirmla Chaudhry described the expansion as "a major commitment to all SKL stakeholders," reinforcing their promise to deliver advanced solutions, investor value, and community job opportunities.
SKL listed 50.5 million ordinary shares by introduction on the Nairobi Securities Exchange's SME Market Segment in July.
